Our client is seeking a talented Procurement Manager to lead impactful procurement projects and support global category strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of procurement across UK and global operations, working collaboratively with senior category management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement projects, including sourcing strategies, tender processes, contract negotiations, and supplier onboarding.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with organisational goals.
- Drive cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation in key spend categories.
- Conduct market analysis and lead supplier selection, ensuring commercial and compliance best practices.
- Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance through KPIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies support business needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in strategic procurement, category management, and leading complex projects.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
- Knowledge of contract law, risk frameworks, and e-procurement systems (desirable).
- Professional accreditation such as CIPS (desirable).
Experience:
- Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and delivering measurable outcomes.
