Our client, a growing global procurement consultancy, is looking for a procurement consultant who specialises in indirect sourcing. The client is open to any indirect category experience. £50-60k, plus a 20% bonus is available.
Overview:
Energetic, driven and innovative Consultant to support client engagements from an IT or Non-IT perspective. The Consultant takes a support role in the delivery of a variety of Outsourcing teams, complex transformational programmes and operational projects relating to procurement and supply chain. As a member of the team, the Consultant plays an integral role in the successful execution of client engagements and building the firm's ‘best in class’ reputation. The person needs to not be a subject matter expert in best practice commercial functional strategies, but will be keen to develop this as part of the role. Networking and building current and prospective client relationships is essential in support of continued business growth.
Experience required:
- Education: Strong Degree level in business, engineering, IT, mathematics, science or economics related discipline
- Evidence of ongoing learning
- Experience: 3-5 years experience in a corporate environment in indirect procurement
