We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Event & Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives and a high-impact events programme within a leading Private Bank. This role is pivotal in enhancing client engagement, strengthening brand positioning, and driving lead generation. The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in marketing strategy, campaign design, and premium event delivery, with a strong understanding of the expectations of the Financial Services space.

You will be working on a high-performing and supportive team of 5, reporting into the Head of Events and Marketing. This role will be based in their super modern London office 4 days a week, with the option to work from home for the remaining day. There will be occasional European travel involved.

Role Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the bank’s event strategy, aligned to business growth and client engagement objectives.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of a high volume of premium events.
  • Ensure all events reflect the bank’s brand, values, and high-quality client standards.
  • Drive innovation in event formats (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) to enhance client experience.
  • Track, measure, and report on event ROI, client engagement, and lead generation outcomes.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to support client acquisition, retention, and event promotion.
  • Design targeted lead generation campaigns aligned to key client segments and commercial priorities.
  • Oversee multi-channel marketing initiatives, including digital, content, email, and partnership-driven campaigns.
  • Use data and insights to continuously optimise campaign performance and effectiveness.
  • Drive client engagement strategy through marketing and events, enhancing the client experience.
  • Partner closely with Relationship Managers and Business Development teams to deliver tailored client experiences.
  • Build and manage relationships with key external partners, venues, and suppliers to elevate event delivery.
Role Requirements
  • Extensive experience in marketing and events leadership, preferably within private banking, wealth management, or financial services.
  • Proven track record in delivering high-volume, high-quality client events for sophisticated audiences.
  • Strong expertise in campaign design, lead generation, and client lifecycle marketing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, particularly with senior executives and front-office teams.
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, compliance, and regulatory considerations in Financial Services.
