Are you working in a private equity environment, supporting portfolio performance tracking, analysis or value creation and ready to take a bigger step in scope and impact? This Portfolio Monitoring role offers the opportunity to play a key role in a global private markets investor. You’ll be a pivotal part in monitoring portfolio performance, building insight tools, and shaping the firm’s approach to data-led portfolio management. You’ll have the autonomy to design and enhance the systems, dashboards, and analytical frameworks that drive commercial decisions across the platform. It’s a chance to move from reporting numbers to providing analysis and insight that will influence investment, value creation, and exit strategies across multiple asset classes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and maintaining portfolio performance dashboards, ensuring financial and operational data is consistent, and actionable.
  • Partnering with investment and operating teams to identify performance trends, risks and opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Contributing to valuation and fund reporting processes, helping shape best-in-class monitoring standards.
  • Working closely with data and technology teams to enhance reporting systems and introduce automation and business intelligence tools.
  • Supporting portfolio company initiatives including short-medium term planning, exit readiness and KPI optimisation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in private equity, portfolio analysis, investment banking, or a related financial discipline.
  • A strong analytical and commercial mindset, confident in Power BI, Excel and financial modelling.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and initiative – someone who enjoys building processes and implementing new ways of working.
  • A collaborative approach, able to partner with investment, finance and operations teams.

The Opportunity:

You’ll join a global investment group with a long-term approach and a culture that rewards initiative and innovation. The environment suits someone who thrives in a data-led culture - and who wants visibility across a multi-strategy private markets platform.
