Investigo are recruiting a Group Financial Controller to partner closely with the CFO and play a key role in scaling a fast-growing, multi-channel consumer business based in Peterborough. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for financial and management reporting, cash flow and working capital, audit and controls, and the day-to-day running of the finance function. You’ll lead a capable team (3 direct, 6 indirect reports) and take ownership of a new finance system implementation launching within the next six months.
What you’ll be driving:
- End-to-end ownership of monthly and statutory reporting
- Strong financial controls, audit management, and compliance
- Cash flow, working capital, and cost control across the group
- Leadership, development, and performance of the finance team
- Continuous improvement, automation, and scalable finance processes
What we’re looking for:
- Proven Financial Controller experience OR Group Finance manager looking to step up, ideally in a retail or multi-channel environment
- Track record of delivering systems upgrades or finance transformation
- Strong people leader with a hands-on, commercial mindset
