We’re partnering with an innovative organisation that is investing heavily in its software platform and engineering capability. They are seeking a Software Development Team Lead to take ownership of a core platform, driving both delivery and long-term evolution while leading a small but high-performing team.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining active contribution to development with mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance. You’ll work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to shape architecture, ensure high-quality delivery, and create an environment where engineers can perform at their best.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions using C# / .NET and cloud services (AWS preferred)
- Driving CI/CD practices, code quality standards, and technical best practices across the team
- Collaborating with product, design, and wider stakeholders to translate requirements into well-architected, maintainable solutions
- Providing day-to-day technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to a small team of software engineers
- Balancing delivery priorities with long-term technical health, architecture improvements, and platform evolution
This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, solving complex technical problems, and helping others grow, while staying hands-on with code and actively contributing to platform development.
