Finance Assistant
Role Overview
/n We are looking for a Finance Assistant to provide day-to-day support across a busy finance function. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will assist with transactional finance activities, month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Process sales and purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
/n
- Match invoices and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding queries
/n
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations
/n
- Manage finance-related queries and liaise with stakeholders across the business
/n
- Support the setup and maintenance of customer and supplier records
/n
- Process employee expenses and company card transactions
/n
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure correct coding of transactions
/n
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and wider finance projects
/n
- Provide support to colleagues across the finance team as required
/n
- Contribute to month-end activities and reporting processes
/n

Requirements

/n

/n
- Previous experience within a transactional finance or accounts role
/n
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
/n
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
/n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
/n
- AAT qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification would be advantageous
/n
- Experience using finance or ERP systems is beneficial
/n
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a broad finance position
/n
