Interim Head of Group Consolidation & Reporting
A leading UK-listed media business is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Group Consolidation & Reporting to join its finance leadership team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
This is a high-profile role within a complex international group undergoing a significant period of strategic change. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the group consolidation process, lead a team of qualified accountants, and ensure accurate and timely reporting across a large multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly group consolidation process across a complex international business
- Manage and develop a team of Group Financial Accountants
- Oversee the accounting treatment of acquisitions, disposals and other corporate transactions
- Support delivery of half-year and year-end reporting requirements
- Act as a key finance partner to global subsidiaries and senior stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, controls and systems
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities
- Partner closely with Group Tax, Treasury and FP&A teams
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
- Strong background in large-scale group consolidations within a complex corporate environment
- Hands-on experience with Oracle FCCS
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting
- Proven experience leading and developing finance teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Listed or large multinational group environment
- Exposure to acquisitions, disposals, carve-outs or wider corporate transactions
- Track record of delivering process improvements within reporting and consolidation functions
