I’m currently partnering with a global organisation within the gaming sector to recruit a Management Accountant into their London-based finance team on a fixed-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, data-driven business where finance plays a key role in performance analysis, reporting and decision support.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
- Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations with prompt investigation and resolution of reconciling items
- Preparation of quarterly regulatory/duty returns
- Deliver clear, insightful variance analysis (vs budget, forecast and prior year) to explain performance drivers
- Support the annual budgeting process (creation, review and system upload)
- Assist with interim and year-end audit requirements
- Provide analytical support on key business decisions and ad-hoc projects
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Contribute to continuous improvement across reporting and finance processes
About You
- Ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Experience in planning, forecasting and delivering meaningful financial insight
- Comfortable managing and analysing large data sets
- Confident presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
You will need to be a UK resident.
This role will be based in London with flexible hybrid working.
