The Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial professional to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making across the business. This role will lead financial control, reporting, and compliance, while partnering closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of month-end close, including management accounts, journal postings, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS, internal accounting policies, and statutory requirements
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across a broad range of accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strong financial control
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and act as the main point of contact for external auditors, leading year-end audit processes
- Provide clear commentary and insight on financial performance, key movements, and risks to senior stakeholders
- Oversee VAT, corporation tax, and other statutory filings, working with external advisors where appropriate
- Own and develop core finance systems and reporting tools
- Drive efficiencies through automation and improved data quality
- Support finance-related projects, including system upgrades or process redesign β Experience with Net-suite would be perfect!
- Lead, develop, and mentor members of the finance team
