The Role
- Reporting into senior finance leadership, the role will deliver a blend of commercial insight and core financial control, with a clear emphasis on value-adding activity.
- 80% Commercial Finance / 20% Month-End
- Acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders
- Providing insight that directly impacts product and commercial performance
- Strong exposure to board-level reporting and decision-making
- As the business scales, the role will evolve to lead a team of up to three direct reports, offering a clear long-term leadership pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive commercial performance through insightful analysis, forecasting and modelling
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to influence strategic decisions
- Deliver high-quality management information with clear, actionable insights
- Own elements of budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
- Support month-end close with focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
- Provide detailed product-level performance analysis and recommendations
- Develop financial models to support new initiatives and growth projects
- Present findings to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
- Play a key role in shaping the future commercial finance structure
