Company Overview
You will be joining a very well-established, prestigious and forward-thinking Private Bank as their Talent Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. Working in a close-knit, high performing and supportive Talent and HR team, you will report directly into the Head of HR. This role will be based in their very modern Central London office 4 days a week, with the opportunity to work from home one day.
Role Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a recruitment strategy to attract top-tier talent.
- Managing relationships with external recruitment agencies.
- Collaborating with HR Business Partners.
- Conducting market research and benchmarking.
- Leading and overseeing the firm's graduate programme.
- Delegating tasks to the HR Admin where appropriate.
- Designing and implementing a learning and development strategy.
- Partnering with business leaders and HRBPs to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Implementing training programmes and developing e-learning solutions.
- Facilitating and delivering training sessions, workshops and leadership development programmes.
- Measuring the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback, assessments and performance metrics.
- Managing the annual process for promotions nominations.
- Collaborating with leadership to develop initiatives that promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Designing employee engagement initiatives.
- Delivering succession planning and talent management for key roles.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong experience in agency recruitment and have more recently moved into a learning & development, HR or training role. Ideally, candidates will be coming from a Financial Services background. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be a strategic thinker and possess strong project management skills, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. You will have experience designing and delivering training programmes and have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
