My client is a large Technology business that is currently undergoing significant change including a major sale of a division and therefore require a strong Finance leader who thrives in complex, fast‑moving transformation environments and will help to drive multiple finance workstreams across major organisational change programmes, including mergers, carve‑outs, and restructuring initiatives.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves rolling up their sleeves, solving thorny problems, and bringing clarity to ambiguity. You’ll be central to delivering finance separation activities at pace, ensuring smooth execution from diligence through to transaction close.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead finance separation activities across people, process, systems, and data, ensuring all workstreams deliver against programme milestones.
  • Stand up and manage Finance TSAs, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate deliverables arising from SPA/ATA reviews, including procurement, contingent worker contracts, and novation requirements.
  • Develop standalone finance capabilities for divested entities, including monthly management accounts and working capital closing statements.
  • Define data standards and oversee the export of books, records, and financial information.
  • Document processes and controls required for separation and future‑state operations.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with internal teams and external partners to maintain momentum and resolve issues quickly.
  • Support change management, providing clear documentation, training, and communication for impacted finance teams.

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA preferred).
  • 10+ years’ experience in finance, with recent exposure to M&A, carve‑outs, or complex transformation programmes.
  • A pragmatic, detail‑driven mindset with the ability to operate at pace.
  • Strong judgement and confidence navigating ambiguity.
  • A natural problem‑solver who enjoys digging into issues and fixing them fast.
