I'm partnered with a global market leading professional services company that is searching for a Senior IT Procurement Manager Data & AI to join their team, covering hardware & software. This will play a key role in delivering strategic sourcing initiatives and driving procurement excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, influence business decisions, and contribute to cost optimisation and operational efficiency across the organisation. This position will focus heavily on software procurement for the first 2 years and then will gravitate into hardware & software after this time period.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support end-to-end strategic sourcing activities for IT, data, AI, software & hardware, cloud services & telecommunications from market analysis through to supplier selection and contract negotiation.
- Manage a portfolio of procurement projects, ranging from routine renewals to complex, high-value negotiations.
- Perform market intelligence, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations to guide sourcing decisions.
- Assist in contract development, risk evaluation, and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and business units to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Contribute to procurement transformation initiatives, including process optimization and change management.
Experience Required:
- 7+ years of IT Procurement experience across hardware & software.
- Several years of experience with AI.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating supplier contracts and delivering cost efficiencies.
- Previous experience working within a consultancy is favourable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
- Keen interest in IT, digital solutions, and procurement innovation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a professional and diplomatic approach.
- Fluent English.
