You will be joining a rapidly growing and hugely successful start-up UK Medical Aesthetics group as their HR Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. This will be a sole charge position as the company brings HR in-house for the first time since they were established last year. Based in their very modern and luxurious West London office 3-4 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining 1-2 days.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day HR operations in the London office and continuously improve HR processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws, GDPR and company policies.
- Assist in developing job descriptions and posting job openings.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
- Conduct background checks and reference verification.
- Oversee onboarding and induction processes to ensure a smooth integration of new employees.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee queries regarding benefits and procedures.
- Manage and resolve any employee relations issues.
- Coordinate performance review processes, including evaluations and goal-setting.
- Support managers in handling employee development plans and performance improvement processes.
- Assist in succession planning and career development initiatives.
- Facilitate employee mandatory training sessions and monitor the effectiveness of these programmes.
Role Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a HR Manager (or similar) role, ideally in the Retail or Medical space (e.g. skincare, clinics, dentistry or veterinary).
- Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Able to work independently and be a proactive self-starter with good attention to detail.
