Are you looking for an opportunity to shape the future of change within a complex, values-driven organisation? Do you have a proven track record developing change capability, adapting to different levels of maturity? Are you looking for a change role that is focused on enabling change at a strategic level, rather than change management specifically? If so, this unique opportunity could be perfect for you.
This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to join a well-known National Charity as they look to transform the way they approach change, embedding a culture where it is not just launched but truly adopted by its people for the long term. Working within the Organisational Effectiveness team, you’ll be instrumental in building long-term change capability across this complex, highly federated organisation.
The Role
This is not about managing individual change programmes but about fostering a mindset shift, creating tools, frameworks and conditions that empower teams, leaders and practitioners to champion and sustain people-focused change. In this enabling and influential role, you’ll be defining the capability, developing the skills to deliver that change and creating the conditions, through culture and governance to ensure sustainable adoption of change. It will also be:
- Shaping and embedding the organisation’s change framework (using PROSCI-ADKAR), tailoring it to diverse needs of differing directorates.
- Building skills and confidence in teams through clear guidance, role-based learning pathways and practical toolkits.
- Convening and coaching a community of change practitioners while championing inclusion and engagement at every stage.
- Working closely with HR, PMOs, and leadership to ensure the people aspect of change is front and centre.
About You
As we said, this is not a change management role, this role is a strategic change capability role, so we’re looking for someone with:
- Expertise in embedding people-centred change frameworks (e.g., PROSCI-ADKAR) across complex, federated organisations.
- A proven track record of uplifting change maturity, influencing stakeholders at all levels with clarity and credibility.
- Experience in leading communities of practice, coaching and shaping practical tools that simplify adoption.
- Deep understanding of how to shift behaviours and cultures sustainably.
You’ll play a key part in driving smarter, people-first transformation across an organisation united by a shared mission to make a difference. If you’re an experienced change practitioner looking to focus on long-term capability building while working for a purpose-led organisation, we want to hear from you.
Please submit an updated version of your CV via the link or directly to us. Shortlisting closes 17th February. Interviews will be on 26 January 2026, with a second round involving a task-based exercise w/c 9th March. Please note, successful candidates must have full, unrestricted UK work rights.
