A leading investment management and technology business is seeking a Senior C# / Snowflake Engineer to join a strategic data transformation programme.
This is a highly visible role within a small, technically strong team responsible for expanding the firm's data capabilities and modernising how investment, portfolio and trade data is distributed across the organisation.
You'll play a key role in building and enhancing a Snowflake-based data platform, working closely with technology, investment and analytics stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain applications using C#/.NET.
Build integrations between business applications and Snowflake.
Develop scalable APIs, services and data pipelines.
Work with large and complex financial datasets.
Support the migration and onboarding of legacy data into Snowflake.
Partner with business, operations and technology stakeholders to define and deliver data solutions.
Contribute to the architecture and long-term direction of the firm's data platform.
Support emerging AI and analytics initiatives leveraging strategic data assets.
Requirements
Experience working on enterprise-scale data platforms.
Strong SQL and database skills.
Experience handling large, complex datasets.
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
Asset Management, Hedge Fund or Capital Markets experience.
Exposure to portfolio, trade, market or risk data.
Azure and cloud-native architectures.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
Experience working with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Quants or Investment teams.
