A leading UK energy company is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their Large Business Sales team. You will manage a portfolio of complex, high-value electricity supply customers and drive growth through new business, strategic relationship management and innovative energy solutions. Role Overview
You will be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of large supply customers (typically >20GWh annual consumption), delivering tailored energy solutions and developing multi-level relationships within major organisations. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help clients navigate market developments, contractual terms and industry regulation, while identifying opportunities to up-sell value-adding products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value, complex B2B energy customers.
- Achieve targets related to structured electricity supply contracts and value-added services.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand portfolio value.
- Build strong, multi-level relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders.
- Use consultative selling to align customer priorities with company solutions.
- Lead virtual teams to deliver customer and commercial goals.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of energy markets, business trends and industry drivers.
- Ensure full compliance with internal governance, policies and processes.
