We’re supporting an organisation undergoing a major transformation across its IT and technology function. We are looking for an interim Head of Development to lead and stabilise an established internal engineering team during a key period of change and evolution. This role is ideally suited to someone who combines strong technical leadership with a highly people-focused approach.
The Role
- You’ll lead a team of around 10 developers within a product-focused engineering environment, helping guide the function through a period of transformation while maintaining stability across delivery.
- The focus will be evolving the capability, improving ways of working, mentoring the team, and supporting a roadmap centred around integrations and low-code/no-code innovation.
- A major part of the role is around leadership, coaching, and helping the team successfully navigate change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a development team of circa 10 engineers
