Investigo are recruiting a high-calibre Group Finance Manager to join a dynamic services-based organisation based in Leicester, Hybrid working. You will play a critical role in delivering accurate group reporting, maintaining a robust control environment, and supporting regulatory and risk management frameworks across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Group Reporting & Technical Accounting
    • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidated financial statements
    • Ensure compliance with IFRS / UK GAAP and internal accounting policies
    • Manage complex accounting areas (e.g. revenue recognition in services contracts, provisions, intercompany eliminations)
    • Liaise with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process
  • Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
    • Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory returns (as applicable to the business sector)
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards
    • Act as a key contact for regulatory audits, reviews, and external stakeholders
    • Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and assess impact on the business
    • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the group financial control framework
    • Ensure strong internal controls across all finance processes (e.g. revenue, billing, cash, payroll)
    • Lead risk assessments and support enterprise risk management processes
    • Own and maintain risk registers and mitigation plans within finance
    • Drive a culture of accountability and control awareness across the business
  • Process Improvement & Systems
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and data integrity
    • Support finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations or upgrades
    • Standardise processes across business units in a scalable services environment
  • Team & Stakeholder Management
    • Manage and develop a financial accountant
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors

Candidate Profile

  • ACA qualified (or equivalent), trained within a Top 10 / Big 4 audit firm
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS / UK GAAP)
  • Experience in a services-based or multi-entity environment preferred
  • Exposure to group reporting and consolidation
  • Experience or exposure to regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks is highly desirable

£70,000 to £75,000 basic plus full benefits package to include annual bonus up to 10% and Hybrid working (2 days office based).
