We're partnering with a large, well-established business seeking an ambitious Financial Accounting Manager to take ownership of financial control, systems governance, and a high-performing accounting team.
This is far more than a traditional Financial Accounting Manager role.
You'll be the person ensuring the integrity of the numbers, driving month-end performance, strengthening controls, and acting as the link between finance operations, reporting, and systems. You'll have genuine influence on how finance operates moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
- Own the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the financial ledger.
- Drive an efficient month-end and year-end close process.
- Take responsibility for chart of accounts, financial master data and reporting structures.
- Improve controls, governance and financial processes across the business.
- Partner with auditors, senior finance leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives.
About You
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified.
- Strong financial accounting and controls background.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Proven ownership of month-end close and statutory reporting processes.
- Comfortable improving systems, processes and ways of working.
- Able to influence stakeholders and drive accountability across the finance function.
