Responsibilities:
- Design and develop SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain complex ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop T-SQL functions and stored procedures to support complex business needs.
- Manage database artifacts and provide subject matter expertise on best practices for creation, deployment, and ongoing management of databases in a reporting/BI environment.
- Monitor daily SSIS jobs and data loads, proactively resolving issues to ensure maximum uptime and availability of the database for reporting.
- Communicate clearly and confidently to Business Analysts, Project Managers, Architects and Infrastructure Engineers about the SSIS platform and the technical configuration of SSIS Interfaces, Packages and Jobs.
- Be able to deputise for the Integrations Team line manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience designing, developing, supporting and implementing integrations using Microsoft solutions (SQL Server and SSIS).
- Demonstrated experience with SQL, proficiency in creating and maintaining complex MS SQL queries.
- Knowledge of data formats and standards such as XML, JSON and CSV.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use Source Control using GIT and Azure DevOps.
- (Bonus) Knowledge and understanding of Azure integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory).
