HR Business Partner

12 – 18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Full Time – Hybrid – 3 days onsite across Greater London and the City

£47,500 – 53,000

  • Are you an experienced HR Business Partner with experience operating across complex, public sector environments?
  • Do you enjoy covering the full remit of HR Generalist work from Case Work, Coaching to Change Management?
  • Do you have good influencing skills? Have you had proven success building strong working relationships with stakeholders at all level, both internally and externally?

We have been supporting a truly unique Local Authority within London over the last 2 years, as they navigate large scale organisational change and transformation. With multiple projects set for 2025, they are looking for additional HR Business Partnering capacity to join their central HR function to help one directorate in particular over the next 12 – 18 months.

This fixed term contract as a HR Business Partner, will be work as part of a small team to service the varied needs of this complex directorate of approx. 800 staff. With hubs across the capital from the City to the Suburbs, there will be an element of travel required with this role on a weekly basis, to ensure you're visible and building strong working relationships with key stakeholders. This role will be responsible for;

  • Complex case work
  • Coaching and support of Line Management around policies, best practice, procedures
  • Drive and develop People Initiatives in line with both the People Strategy and specific Departmental needs
  • Support with Change Programmes, Workforce Planning, Recruitment etc.
