We are partnering with a large, complex, customer-facing organisation to appoint a Head of Revenue Operations. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for receivables, cash management, revenue assurance, payment operations and the ongoing transformation of order management and finance processes. Leading a team of finance professionals, you will drive operational excellence, strengthen controls, protect revenue streams and support the delivery of major business and systems change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end Order-to-Cash and receivables function, ensuring robust controls, compliance and governance.
- Oversee cash management, banking activities and balance sheet reconciliations within a high-volume transactional environment.
- Drive revenue assurance and revenue protection activities, including payment disputes, recoveries and control monitoring.
- Act as the senior escalation point for all receivables, billing and payment-related matters.
- Manage outsourced providers and ensure performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and broader regulatory requirements.
- Lead the finance workstream for payment, revenue and order management transformation programmes, including process redesign and system implementations.
- Partner with Finance, Technology, Commercial and Operational stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
- Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team through periods of change and transformation.
Key Experience & Skills
- Significant experience leading Order-to-Cash, Receivables, Revenue Accounting or Shared Services functions within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of billing, payments, cash application, reconciliations and revenue assurance processes.
- Proven track record of delivering process improvements, strengthening controls and driving operational efficiency.
- Experience leading large-scale finance transformation, ERP, payment or order management system implementations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify control weaknesses, process failures and revenue leakage risks.
- Good understanding of financial controls, risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Strong systems knowledge and experience working across integrated finance and operational platforms.
- Demonstrable leadership experience, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement.
