Investigo are working with one of the leading UK property companies focusing on market leading assets across a range of UK sites. The Head of Financial Reporting is a key role within the group team, working closely with the Financial Controller, Finance Director and other key stakeholders. This role is ideal for an individual who is looking for a long-term career in an established but continually growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the team in the preparation and review of all financial statements for the group.
  • Work closely with investors in providing key information and reporting across key periods.
  • Work closely with auditors, legal and tax teams in all technical accounting matters.
  • Ensure all debt compliance both internally and externally is closely monitored.
  • Work closely with Finance Director to ensure all controls are adhered to and recommend improvement where necessary.
  • Manage and motivate Financial Reporting team and ensure month end processes are effective.

Key Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified with 4+ years PQE.
  • Relevant working experience in a Real Asset environment.
  • Proven experience in working with complex group structures ideally within a listed organisation.
  • Top 10 audit trained background is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven ability in direct people management and improvement performance.
  • Strong Financial accounting experience with knowledge of reviewing statutory accounting packs.
