Financial Reporting Manager – 6 Month FTC | Global FS Business | Up to £95k pro rata
A newly created role within a growing financial reporting team at a global financial services group. The focus is on delivering high-quality consolidated and entity-level financial reporting, ensuring technical compliance under IFRS, UK GAAP, and other relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review group and entity financial statements under IFRS, UK GAAP, and other GAAPs.
- Support interim, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage technical accounting queries.
- Assist in implementing non-financial disclosure obligations (e.g., CSRD).
- Support integration of acquisitions into reporting framework.
- Contribute to building a strong control environment and improve reporting governance.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Qualified accountant with strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge.
- Big 4 audit background is with PQE in industry Essential
- Strong analytical, technical accounting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with group consolidations and multi-entity reporting within a complex structure business
- Must have experience working in financial services
- Workiva experience is desirable but not required.
