We are working with a highly reputable Entertainment organisation that is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join their Finance team. This position is ideal for a driven individual with a strong analytical background who is eager to contribute to financial reporting in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
The Role:
- Coordinate and oversee financial planning, reporting, and budgeting processes across the division to ensure consistency with organisational objectives.
- Act as a key point of contact for transactional finance teams, facilitating the effective management of intercompany communications, reconciliations, and consolidated data.
- Conduct comprehensive analytical reviews of monthly submissions from various European markets, ensuring accuracy and identifying areas for improvement.
- Monitor and validate balance sheet components to uphold proper accounting standards and corporate compliance requirements.
- Support executive-level reporting by preparing detailed divisional summaries for global headquarters, including compliance with SOX frameworks.
- Actively liaise with local finance teams to provide guidance on technical applications and resolve financial queries.
- Collaborate on strategic projects, including international accounting-related initiatives and transfer pricing activities.
Skills and Competencies
Essential: ACA qualified (or equivalent), with strong Excel skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
Desirable: Knowledge of US GAAP.
