About the Role: The Financial Controller will play a key role in overseeing financial operations across multiple entities, including venue operations, partnerships, and central costs. This is a hands-on leadership position, combining day-to-day financial management with reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement. Working closely with operational leadership, FP&A, and international stakeholders, you will ensure financial accuracy, support decision-making, and drive improvements in processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop members of the finance team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the team. - Process Improvement Operational Excellence
Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting accuracy. Leverage automation and technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Support wider business initiatives and cross-functional projects as required. - Month-End Close Balance Sheet Oversight
Oversee month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journals. Ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies as needed. Maintain the integrity of financial data and reporting processes.
