A Global Platform Lead is required to join a leading international organisation that is continuing to develop and scale its global data platform. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a strategic Snowflake environment already adopted across multiple countries, combining hands‑on technical delivery with platform leadership, stakeholder management and third‑party vendor management.
Working across a global data and technology function, you'll help evolve the Snowflake platform, support further international rollouts and enable data teams to adopt consistent, scalable and well‑governed data engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Own and evolve the global Snowflake platform, supporting its continued development and international rollout, alongside future technology.
- Balance hands‑on Snowflake engineering with technical leadership, platform strategy and stakeholder engagement.
- Define and implement standards across development, deployment, security, governance and platform operations.
- Work closely with global data teams across the UK, US and Europe to enable adoption and deliver consistent platform capabilities.
- Manage and technically oversee third‑party vendors and delivery partners.
