You will be joining a very well-established, highly regarded and prestigious Insurance firm as their Credit Controller on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will report directly into the Credit Control Manager and you will be part of a large wider finance team. Based in their modern City of London office 3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining 2 days.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Checking and reconciling the accounting entries
  • Liaising with Underwriters/Claims Handlers
  • Accurately allocating the cash received
  • Raising journal entries
  • Ensuring that statements are regularly sent out
  • Promptly reporting potential difficulties
  • Processing the payment of commissions to brokers
  • Processing the bank charges
  • Performing monthly reconciliations

Role Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an Insurance, Professional Services or Financial Services environment
  • A hard-working, committed and dedicated individual with a demonstrable willingness to learn and a fantastic work ethic
  • Strong communication skills and confidence with the use of Accounting software such as Unit 4, SAP or Xero
  • A proactive team player with the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders across the business

In Return:

You will receive an annual salary of up to £42,000 + Benefits (including lunch allowance, private medical insurance, generous pension contribution and income protection) and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. You will be joining a very well-known business that can provide excellent career progression opportunities going forward.
