Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Are you a strategic finance leader with a passion for driving business performance? My client, a leading Software business, is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director to join the leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the business\’ financial strategy.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO , this is a high-impact position where you will lead the FP&A team to deliver best-in-class financial planning, analysis, and commercial support. You will work closely with the Leadership Team , influencing decision-making and ensuring the business achieves and exceeds its objectives in alignment with our global strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for the business.
- Provide insightful financial reporting and commercial analysis to support leadership decision-making.
- Manage and enhance the monthly leadership dashboard, ensuring accurate financial and operational performance tracking.
- Drive the annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasting process.
- Partner with key stakeholders, including the CFO and GM , to provide financial expertise and commercial support.
- Support pricing strategy, investment appraisals, product profitability, and deal structuring.
- Lead business process improvement (BPI) initiatives across Finance and the wider organization.
- Ensure strong collaboration with the Accounting team to align financial strategies.
