Hybrid Working (Onsite - London 2 Days Per Week) Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our ambitious team in London. Here you’ll provide support for Cloud-based applications and services and recommend enhancements to meet customer requirements. You’ll take the lead on ad-hoc investigations; identifying additional service requirements and assisting with the delivery of new projects. You’ll work closely with the Head of Infrastructure & EUC and Infrastructure & EUC Lead, in running quality-driven, Agile-inspired, proactive and customer/business-oriented services, that are aligned with the overall strategic development of all Technology services.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Azure cloud solutions to meet business requirements
  • Manage and monitor Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components
  • Automate deployment and configuration processes, utilising tools such as PowerShell
  • Ensure the security and compliance of our Azure environment by implementing best practices and security controls
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services
  • Assist with integration plans for merging the IT systems of the acquiring and target companies, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with the integration of IT infrastructure, including data security, compliance, and system compatibility

Qualifications Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience of working in a Hybrid Cloud environment
  • Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services and architecture
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
