The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be joining a very well-established and prestigious Technology business as their Legal Counsel on a 10 month fixed term contract (could be extended). Part of a sizable team of 6, reporting into the Senior Legal Counsel, you will be supported by like-minded and high-performing individuals from day one. Based in their very modern City of London office 2-3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining days.
In your new role, you will be collaborating with global cross-functional internal and external teams, assist in investigations and related reporting and remediation measures, shape commercial arrangements in accordance with regulatory requirements, assist in managing the full scope of ethics and compliance areas, assist in enabling the expansion of relationships with strategic alliance partners, support the development of policies, processes, templates, tools and training to foster strategic partnerships and support the procurement tendering process.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be available immediately or at short notice (the role will commence from March), be qualified to practice Law in England and Wales and have a minimum of 5 years PQE Law Firm or In-House Legal experience. You will have significant experience with a wide variety of commercial arrangements, have solid experience with a broad range of legal issues spanning corporate practice and have experience working in a dynamic B2B sales or similar environment. Experience in the technology, services/consulting and reseller industry is highly desirable and any experience with IP, TUPE, XaaS, data protection and IR35 would be advantageous.
You will receive a very competitive day rate + benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to ensure it remains in line with market rate. You will be joining an incredibly successful business that can hopefully provide future career progression opportunities after the initial contract has ended.
