You will be joining a modern Law Firm as their Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Working in a close-knit team of 4 consisting of a Billing Clerk and a Legal Cashier, you will all be reporting directly into the Practice Manager. This role will be based 5 days a week in their luxurious Central London offices. There will be flexibility to work from home 1 day a week after 3 months with the business.
You will be responsible for assisting with raising client invoices in a timely and accurate manner, allocating fee-earner time and costs, maintaining the firm's Billing document, assisting with mid-year and year-end financial processes, supporting with reconciliations and reporting, assisting with office expenses and drafting requests for funds on account. You will post disbursements and recharges, contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and documentation and provide ad-hoc support to the wider team as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in an Accounts or Finance support role, have a good knowledge of Excel, have strong attention to detail and accuracy, possess excellent time management skills and be a clear, confident communicator, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
You will receive an annual salary of up to £32,000 (depending on experience) + Study Support + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. You will be working for a fast-growing, modern and very prestigious Law Firm that can provide fantastic career progression opportunities in the future. You will be located in a great area of London, working in a new and luxurious office, close to multiple transport links and top attractions. Once you have been with the firm for 3 months, you will have the option to work from home for 1 day a week.
