Our client are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their growing cyber security consultancy at a pivotal stage of its expansion. The business has built a strong reputation delivering services such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and purple teaming, and is now looking for a Business Development Manager to lead sales activity and drive new business growth. This is the first dedicated sales hire, offering the chance to take ownership of the commercial function and progress into a leadership role as the company scales over the next 12–24 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across a range of sectors.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to support growth objectives.
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, with deal sizes ranging from £10k to £200k.
- Generate leads through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging existing contacts.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to close.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored client solutions and proposals.
