Overview

I am partnering with a small Commercial Property Development company looking to take on a Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant.

  • Salary: Up to £45,000
  • On site – 5 days in the office
  • Location: Central London

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with Sales and Purchase ledgers.
  • Preparation and reconciliation of Service Charge Budgets and Expenditure for Commercial Properties.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date financial records.
  • Preparing year-end financial statements.
  • Completing VAT returns.
  • Reconciling various accounts.
  • Posting of bank transactions and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure all direct debit payments are allocated to their respective invoices in a timely manner.
  • Managing Client Accounts and processing payments.
  • Monitoring accounts payable emails to ensure all invoices are received and submitted correctly.
  • Running weekly invoices and payment runs.
  • Reviewing unpaid supplier invoices and keeping communication flowing between suppliers & company.
  • General office administrative duties, when appropriate.

Experience needed

  • Xero experience is highly desired.
  • Property industry experience – highly desirable.
  • Service charge knowledge – desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
