Currently working with a client on a requirement for a Senior Software Engineer, to join a high-performing engineering team transforming the energy sector. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and delivering high-quality software solutions that make a tangible impact for customers and the wider market. If you’re passionate about innovation, collaboration, and building scalable products, this is an exciting opportunity.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing, integrating, and optimising core product features across web and mobile platforms. You’ll work closely with product, UX/UI, and backend teams to ensure seamless experiences and contribute to building scalable, reliable, and automated SaaS solutions. You will play a key role in implementing modern technologies, AI-driven features, and cloud-native architectures to deliver products that support a cleaner, greener energy market.
Role Requirements
- Strong expertise in Next.js, TypeScript, React / React Native, PostgreSQL, and Cloud.
- Experience with cloud hosting, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and GitHub version control.
- Knowledge of AI/LLM integration to enhance product features and automation capabilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimise complex applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working in Agile teams with excellent communication and adaptability.
- Experience or interest in mechanical/thermal engineering.
