As the key architect of our clients supplier management strategy, you will spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing processes, tools, and engagement models to ensure alignment with both business and customer objectives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and suppliers, embedding best practices and driving optimisation of supplier lifecycle and contract management. With responsibility for leading a team of supplier management professionals, you will also contribute to specialised projects, shaping the future of supplier management for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the Supplier Management Programme and Framework, ensuring robust governance and effective performance tracking.
  • Delivering training, guidance, and support to internal teams, enabling consistent and effective supplier engagement.
  • Managing supplier performance metrics and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Driving the adoption and implementation of AI tools within the Procurement function.
  • Line managing a small team of supplier management professionals.

About You:

A skilled procurement professional with extensive experience in supplier management and a proven track record in managing complex contracts. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader, adept at stakeholder engagement and change management, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
