Investigo are recruiting a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a large, well-established organisation. This is a highly analytical and commercially focused role, offering broad exposure across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You’ll play a key role in producing accurate monthly management accounts, delivering insightful variance analysis, and supporting senior stakeholders with clear, decision-useful financial information.
Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you will act as a finance business partner, helping to monitor performance, support cost control initiatives, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex, multi-year projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and performance reports for senior management
- Deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary to support commercial decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial planning processes
- Partner with operational teams to monitor financial performance and cost control
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Produce financial models and analysis to assess changes in profitability and cash flow
- Contribute to board-level and ad-hoc reporting as required
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 1–2 years’ PQE
- Strong academic background and a track record of high performance
- Commercially aware, analytical and detail-focused
- Confident communicator, able to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive, inquisitive and willing to challenge and improve processes
- Comfortable working independently and to deadlines, while being a strong team player
£52,000 to £59,000 basic, £5k cash car allowance, plus full benefits package
