We are seeking a Divisional Finance Manager to lead the financial management within a larger group. Your role will be pivotal in implementing strong financial controls and delivering valuable insights to support strategic decision‑making across the Water Division of a dynamic organisation. This position combines operational leadership, technical expertise, and process enhancement in a fast‑paced environment. Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in driving the division’s financial performance and supporting its continued growth.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports across all division entities.
- Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g., VAT, PAYE, P11D).
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and working capital optimisation.
- Strengthen internal controls, ensuring financial integrity and mitigating risks.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and performance commentary to support leadership decisions.
- Collaborate with auditors, leading external audit processes and ensuring compliance.
- Manage payroll submissions across the division, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Streamline processes, implement controls, and drive continuous improvement for scalability.
- Develop and mentor a high‑performing finance team, fostering accountability and excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in leading financial teams and managing controls in a fast‑paced environment.
