Investigo are working with a leading name in global construction in their search for a Financial Accountant. This position works closely with the Finance Manager in ensuring that financial records for the complex payroll records across multiple divisions are accurately recorded in the month end reporting. This role is ideal for someone in the final stages of qualification to have a high importance role within the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Finance Manager in managing month-end payroll accounting processes.
Review and reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation for all balances. Proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Support both internal and external audits to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Drive process optimisation initiatives to improve efficiency and uphold best practices.
Prepare additional management information and analysis as required by the business.
About You:
Progressing towards a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
Experience in preparing balance sheet reconciliations .
Familiarity with managing internal recharges .
A strong understanding of accounting principles .
An ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results efficiently.
