Role overview

We are seeking an experienced D365 Lead Business Analyst to support a major business transformation programme.

The successful candidate will provide leadership to a team of Business Analysts, driving the discovery, analysis, and delivery of business requirements while supporting the evolution of Dynamics 365 capabilities across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and provide quality assurance for a team of Business Analysts, ensuring consistent delivery standards and best practices.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements-gathering activities across business and technology functions.
  • Analyse current-state processes and define future-state business capabilities to support transformation objectives.
  • Own and oversee the production of key analysis artefacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, business requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Support backlog refinement, prioritisation, and planning activities within Agile delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with solution designers, architects, and delivery teams to shape practical and effective solutions.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, structured requirements suitable for technical delivery teams.
  • Ensure requirements consider operational, governance, regulatory, security, and risk-related considerations.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of Dynamics 365 functionality and associated business processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the successful delivery of transformation outcomes.
  • Required Experience
  • Extensive experience in a senior or lead Business Analyst role delivering complex business and technology change initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading and coaching Business Analysts within large-scale programmes.
  • Strong experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 platforms and associated business transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent requirements elicitation, process analysis, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality analysis deliverables for both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within complex and evolving delivery environments.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with customer engagement, service management, sales, or operational business processes.
  • Understanding of systems integration, data migration, and process optimisation activities.
  • Exposure to automation, AI-enabled solutions, or digital transformation programmes.
  • Familiarity with governance, compliance, data quality, and risk management principles.
