This position plays a key role within a complex, multi-entity group structure, supporting financial reporting, treasury accounting, and intercompany activity across international operations. The role will work closely with finance stakeholders across jurisdictions to ensure accurate reporting and strong financial controls.
Core Responsibilities
- Group Reporting & Stakeholder Delivery
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles at group level
- Support the consolidation process and ensure consistency across reporting entities
- Deliver timely and accurate financial information to senior stakeholders and investors
- Assist with reporting requirements linked to ownership and investment structures
- Treasury & Financing Accounting
- Maintain accounting records for group-wide financing arrangements, including:
- Intra-group borrowings
- Third-party debt instruments
- Interest accruals and calculations
- Treasury-related transactions
- Support accounting and reporting for structured financing instruments such as listed debt
- Ensure compliance with financing covenants and reporting obligations
- Intercompany & Cross-Border Transactions
- Manage and oversee intercompany accounting across multiple jurisdictions
- Ensure all intercompany balances reconcile and discrepancies are resolved promptly
- Account for funding flows, dividend distributions, and cost recharges
- Assist with transfer pricing support and documentation where required
- Entity-Level Accounting (UK)
- Lead accounting activities for a UK-based holding entity
- Prepare periodic management accounts and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure appropriate accounting treatment for complex and non-routine transactions
- Support statutory reporting obligations where applicable
- Audit, Controls & Compliance
- Act as a key contact for external auditors on relevant entities
- Maintain and improve internal control frameworks
- Support statutory filings and broader regulatory compliance requirements
- Process Improvement & Systems
- Contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the rollout and standardisation of processes across the group
- Work within an established ERP environment, identifying opportunities for optimisation
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including:
- Regional finance teams
- Central group finance function
- Treasury specialists
- External auditors and advisors
- Senior management
- Build strong working relationships across geographically diverse teams
Candidate Profile
- Qualifications
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent)
- Experience
- Experience operating in a multi-entity or group environment
- Exposure to financing structures, intercompany accounting, and group reporting
- Comfortable working in an international, fast-paced setting
