About the Role
Join the head office team of a fast-paced, growing UK retail business. As part of the Commercial Finance function, you will play a key role in supporting financial operations behind the scenes, helping ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong commercial decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts receivable invoice requests for external partners, including rebate and funding arrangements
- Maintain accurate and well-organised financial records across agreements and transactions
- Coordinate with external credit control providers to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices and minimise aged debt
- Work closely with internal commercial and finance teams to resolve invoice queries and support debt management
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers regarding outstanding balances and queries
- Produce regular debtor reports and share insights with the wider business
- Generate weekly and monthly financial reports to support operational and commercial decision-making
- Maintain accurate data within finance and ERP systems
- Support system implementations (e.g., rebate or finance tools), including data input and validation during transition phases
- Assist with ad hoc requests across the Commercial Finance team
About You
- Strong organisational skills with a structured approach to managing workloads
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or similar finance roles
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams

- Confident Excel user, comfortable working with large datasets and reports
