Responsibilities include:
- Financial Reporting: Compile monthly, quarterly and year-end tax results for the group under IFRS, and convert the consolidated figures to US GAAP for a major joint-venture partner, ensuring accurate disclosures for minority investors.
- Entity Reporting: Coordinate the tax close for a wide network of legal entities. Own and enhance the digital toolset that supports entity reporting, accelerating automation and data-visualisation through platforms such as Alteryx and Power BI.
- Effective-Tax-Rate & Cash-Tax Forecasting: Project future ETR and cash-tax outcomes by analysing shifts in product portfolio, commercial strategy and global tax legislation, providing clear insights for executive decision-making.
- Tax-Risk Reporting: Run the enterprise tax-risk reporting cycle, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and external advisers to deliver transparent, action-oriented risk dashboards.
- Public Country-by-Country Disclosure: Produce the group's CbCR statement, validating all data in partnership with regional finance teams to ensure public-facing accuracy.
- Process Optimisation & Change Leadership: Leverage the common ERP environment and manage outsourced partners to streamline, standardise and future-proof tax-reporting processes.
- People Development: Mentor and coach junior colleagues, cultivating a collaborative, high-performance culture that supports career growth and continuous learning.
About You:
- Chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in Financial Reporting and also Tax
- Fluent English (written & spoken)
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
