Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and analysis for central departments, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles for all corporate cost centres.
- Collaborate with cost centre owners (e., HR, IT, Finance, Legal) to monitor and explain expenditure against budgets.
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc cost analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Maintain and enhance financial models and reporting tools used for corporate reporting.
- Provide analytical support and reporting for capital expenditure.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of month-end reporting for central costs.
- Contribute to the delivery of budgets, forecasts, and risk & opportunity assessments.
- Ensure cost centre spend aligns with budget and provide clear explanations for variances.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support senior leadership and stakeholder requirements.
- Deliver accurate forecasts and risk/opportunity insights using robust financial models.
- Produce a range of capital expenditure reports to keep senior stakeholders informed on key areas of spend.
