BI Analyst – Power BI – £500 (outside IR35) – South Yorkshire
Investigo are supporting the hire of a skilled BI Analyst contractor on behalf of a leading Manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire.
This hire will play a key role in driving the organisations BI road-map forward as they move away from Tableau to PowerBi.
- Rate: £400 – £500 Outside IR35 (dependant on experience)
- Location: South Yorkshire 1-2 days per/week on-site
- Duration: 4 months
- Start date: August 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse existing Tableau reports and associated data flows
- Document and rationalise legacy dashboards and reporting logic
- Conduct gap analysis and lead the migration to Power BI
- Build and model Power BI datasets and visualisations aligned with business needs
- Work with internal BI resource and business users to define reporting requirements
- Ensure alignment with Snowflake data warehouse and support best practices in data architecture
Required Skills/ Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, dashboard creation)
- Working knowledge of Tableau (sufficient to interpret and translate legacy reports)
- Solid SQL skills and experience with Snowflake data warehouse
- Experience in BI migration projects
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors welcomed, but not a necessity
