Overview
Investigo are excited to be working with a client based in Cheshunt who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a temp to perm basis!
The role:
- Prepare bank statements to enable bank allocations are ready for CC
- Processing of purchase invoices
- Resolving supplier queries with suppliers/procurement; Scanning purchase invoices onto the document management
- Reconciliation of GRNI to the suppliers
- Processing of employee expenses
- Daily reconciliations of bank accounts
- Preparing month end journals for review
- Customer and supplier rebate calculations
- Prepare and calculate depn in FAR
- Prepare and analyse daily commercial reports
- Stock reconciliation and provision
- Any other ad hoc duties given by senior
Profile
- Actively studying, AAT, CIMA or ACCA
- A good level of IT/PC literacy, particularly in the use of MS Office applications is essential
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced office environment
- Good communication and organisation skills and an ability to prioritise tasks
- Able to work alone and as part of a busy team
