Every investigation has a story. Behind every intelligence report, safeguarding referral, victim statement or arrest is a person relying on skilled policing professionals to deliver answers, protection and justice. These opportunities provide the chance to play a pivotal role in significant investigations across the region. You will help progress cases that impact communities, protect vulnerable victims, disrupt organised criminality and support those who need help most.

As an investigator, your experience can directly influence outcomes, uncover critical evidential opportunities and help deliver justice for victims and their families. Whether supporting a major crime enquiry, tackling county lines activity, safeguarding vulnerable adults and children, or investigating serious offences, your contribution will be visible, valued and meaningful. This is more than an interim role. • Preparing robust case files for CPS submission, court proceedings and disclosure requirements.
  • Working closely with partner agencies, safeguarding professionals, prosecutors and policing colleagues.
  • Maintaining accurate investigation records and ensuring cases progress within organisational and judicial timescales.

What makes these opportunities rewarding:

  • Contribute to some of the region’s most significant and high-impact investigations.
  • Work alongside experienced investigators, safeguarding professionals and specialist operational teams.
  • Apply your existing skills in environments where your contribution can have an immediate impact.
  • Continue making a difference to victims, families and communities through meaningful investigative work.
