Permanent position in Chorley, Lancashire - This role is onsite, 5 days a week.
My client is looking for a software developer to facilitate the improvement of their in-house developed applications. You will join an existing team working on new functionality and maintaining/improving existing features. This encompasses both front and back end technologies for web and mobile, plus API and service architecture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working within the development team to produce applications across web, mobile and server.
- Writing code that adheres to our development standards and applications that adhere to our security guidelines.
- Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Peer reviewing code as part of a team.
- Maintaining existing software and assisting with the infrastructure team as part of a DevOps environment and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
- Working with the Reporting and Analysis teams to ensure that our databases and reports are performing correctly with new functional development.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the life cycle from requirements to post go live.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- .NET/.NET Framework - C#, Entity Framework, MVC, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS
- Azure DevOps using Git for source control
- Strong drive for success.
